Award Winning Research from the Institute
26 November 2021
Colleagues from the Thomas Ashton Institute for Risk and Regulatory Research were winners at the recent Construction Computing Awards. Over 200 supporting guests gathered to see the outcome of the readers’ online voting and judging panel’s deliberations.
The team from 3D Repo, HSE, Thomas Ashton Institute, University of Manchester, Atkins and SafetiBase won the award for Health and Safety Software of the Year, for their Risk Treatment Tool as part of Discovering Safety. SafetiBase has been deployed on pilot projects with AstraZeneca, Atkins, Faithful and Gould, Heathrow, and Multiplex.
Discovering Safety is funded by Lloyds Register Foundation. This long-term programme of work seeks to better understand the global health and safety landscape, its challenges and how best to access and use data to develop solutions for maximum benefit.
Congratulations to the whole team.
